My awakened self has ventured to collect wisdom from a myriad of sources in order to bring it together and connect it, much like one connects the pieces of a puzzle. With each piece added I develop a greater clarity, a more complete view of the working reality of our world. I am indebted to all the sages and prophets and every day people and nature for helping me to understand the truth, indeed it is only the truth that can set one free. Below is a rotating collection of quotes from those whom I have great respect.

“And I’m telling you: where Palestine goes, the rest of the world goes. If Palestine isn’t free- we’re not going to be free. We free Palestine- this world will be free and there will be justice.” ~ Ken O’Keefe

“You don’t have to be a man to fight for freedom. All you have to do is to be an intelligent human being.”

“The only way we’ll get freedom for ourselves is to identify ourselves with every oppressed people in the world. We are blood brothers to the people of Brazil, Venezuela, Haiti… Cuba – yes Cuba too.”

“Respect me, or put me to death.””

We black men have a hard enough time in our own struggle for justice, and already have enough enemies as it is, to make the drastic mistake of attacking each other and adding more weight to an already unbearable load.”

“I’m worried that students will take their obedient place in society and look to become successful cogs in the wheel – let the wheel spin them around as it wants without taking a look at what they’re doing. I’m concerned that students not become passive acceptors of the official doctrine that’s handed down to them from the White House, the media, textbooks, teachers and preachers.”

“Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.”

“I suggest that if you know history, then you might not be so easily fooled by the government when it tells you you must go to war for this or that reason -that history is a protective armor against being misled.”
