The Secret Truth of Hawaii

It is difficult for many to understand how a white guy like myself, from Southern California no less, could have such deep involvement with the Hawaiian Independence movement. My response to this is that my absolute commitment to justice has fostered this love for Hawaii. But beyond that it is the people of Hawaii themselves, who are correctly known as the kanaka maoli, that have so moved and inspired me to give my allegiance without reservation to the Hawaiian Nation. These people are not just my friends, they are my family. They are the originators of "Aloha," a word recognized throughout the world, yet little understood. If you ever have the honor of knowing these people, you will experience the true meaning of Aloha and you will be enriched in more ways than I can express. The world can learn much from these people and there struggle, because if Hawaii wins, the world wins, in more ways than people know.

Hawaii strikes directly at the belly of the beast that is America today, and their cause in many ways represents the future of life on earth, one way or the other. Perhaps the most compelling argument to support this is the fact that Hawaii is now home to more nuclear weapons than any other spot on earth. If you live in a major city you probably have a nuclear missile targeting your land, originating from the land of Aloha.

I would argue that the people of the world should focus on Hawaii because in so doing we can expose the true agenda of the United States and force justice for all, non-violently. I call on all of you who read the following information to sign the petition of support for the Hawaiian people and to support this nation with whatever funds or services you can provide.

The following is my letter of response to the State Department of the U.S. Thus far the U.S. rejects the existence of the Hawaiian Nation for obvious reasons and uses this to deny my right to renounce U.S. citizenship. But as you will see, International Law, U.S. Law and the historical facts make their position an embarrassing and pathetic lie that only a tyrant could defend, and it forces them to expose their hypocrisy in monumental ways.

LETTER FROM THE U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT TO KENNETH NICHOLS - JULY 16, 2002 "OBJECTION LETTER"
Consistent with the Lozada Colon v. U.S. Dept. of State, Civil Action No. 97-1831, (D.D.C. April 28, 1998) (memorandum opinion and order), affirmed by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, the Department of State has adopted the position that the intention to relinquish U.S. nationality required for purposes of finding loss of nationality does not exist in cases where the renunciant demonstrates that residence will be as an alien documented properly under U.S. law.

Your case falls into this category because of your assertion of the existence of a separate Hawaiian nation and your claim of Hawaiian citizenship.

How wonderful it is to have you address my "assertion of the existence of a separate Hawaiian nation" and "my claim of Hawaiian citizenship." Thank you for this monumental opportunity to prove my "assertion" through this legal dialogue of which you have no way out, as the world watches no less. My Hawaiian brothers and sisters are equally ecstatic and empowered by your blunder. To my knowledge this is the first such challenge of the Hawaiian Nation presented by the United States Department of State since November 23, 1993. On that fateful day your President William Jefferson Clinton signed into law UNITED STATES PUBLIC LAW 103-150.

Now, therefore, be it Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

The Congress -
(3) apologizes to Native Hawaiians on behalf of the people of the United States for the overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii on January 17, 1893 with the participation of agents and citizens of the United States, and the deprivation of the rights of Native Hawaiians to self-determination;

4) expresses its commitment to acknowledge the ramifications of the overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii, in order to provide a proper foundation for reconciliation between the United States and the Native Hawaiian people; and

(5) urges the President of the United States to also acknowledge the ramifications of the overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii and to support reconciliation efforts between the United States and the Native Hawaiian people.

THE LAW OF NATIONS (INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC LAW) E. DE VATTEL
The Law of Nations is the science of the rights which exist between Nations or States, and of the obligations corresponding to these rights.

The liberty of a Nation would not remain complete if other Nations presumed to inspect and control its conduct; a presumption which would be contrary to the natural law, which declares every Nation free and independent of all other Nations.

THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
This Constitution, and all the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or the Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

The Congress shall have Power To define and punish Piracies and Felonies on the high Seas, and Offences against the Law of Nations.

At this point we have established that your Constitution and subsequent laws including treaties with other nations is the "supreme Law of the Land" and that any law in contradiction is unlawful. We further establish that your nations recognition of the Law of Nations in your supreme law.

US TREATY OF FRIENDSHIP WITH THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS
The United States of America and His Majesty the King of the Hawaiian Islands, equally animated with the desire of maintaining the relations of good understanding which have hitherto so happily subsisted between their respective states, and consolidating the commercial intercourse between them, have agreed to enter into negotiations for the conclusion of a Treaty of Friendship, Commerce and Navigation, for which purpose they have appointed plenipotentiaries, that is to say:
Article I - There shall be perpetual peace and amity between the United States and the King of the Hawaiian Islands, his heirs and his successors.

THE LAW OF NATIONS (TREATIES)
Who can doubt that treaties are among the number of things to be held sacred by Nations? They settle the most important questions; they adjust the claims of sovereigns; they enforce the recognition of a Nation's rights and secure its most precious interests.

He who violates his treaties violates at the same time the Law of Nations, for he shows contempt for that fidelity to treaties which the Law of Nations declares sacred, and, as far as is in his power, he renders it of no effect. He is doubly guilty, in that he does an injury both to his ally and to all Nations and the human race as well.

Within your own supreme laws (Treaties with sovereign nations) you commit to perpetual peace with the Hawaiian nation. In addition we clarify the meaning of Treaties.

UNITED STATES PUBLIC LAW 103-150 - "APOLOGY ACT"
Whereas, on January 14, 1893, John L. Stevens, the United States Minister assigned to the sovereign and independent Kingdom of Hawaii conspired with a small group of non-Hawaiian residents of the Kingdom of Hawaii including citizens of the United States, to overthrow the indigenous and lawful Government of Hawaii&

PULIC LAW 103-150 is nothing less than a confession by the United States Congress and President Clinton to the international crime of conspiracy. A conspiracy to overthrow the "sovereign and independent Kingdom of Hawaii." This is the same nation who you signed a "Treaty of Friendship" with and who was a declared ally.

APPLICATION OF INTERNATIONAL LAW
Letter of Protest to the United States Government from the Hawaiian Head of State Queen Liliuokalani
"I, Liliuokalani, by the Grace of God, and under the Constitution of the Hawaiian Kingdom, Queen, do hereby solemnly protest against any and all acts done against myself and the constitutional Government of the Hawaiian Kingdom by certain persons claiming to have established a Provisional Government of and for this Kingdom.

"That I yield to the superior force of the United States of America whose Minister Plenipotentiary, His Excellency John L. Stevens, has caused United States troops to be landed at Honolulu and declared that he would support the said Provisional Government."

Now, to avoid any collision of armed forces, and perhaps the loss of life, I do this under protest, and impelled by said force yield my authority until such time as the Government of the United States shall, upon facts being presented to it, undo the action of its representative and reinstate me in the authority which I claim as the constitutional sovereign of the Hawaiian Islands."

Done at Honolulu this 17th day of January, A.D. 1893.

In the simplest terms, your nation legally admitted to stealing the Hawaiian Nation. This is a gargantuan legal admission that is irrefutable proof of the Hawaiian Nations perfect right to resume the political authority you stole. It further states in this law that you did so with the use of U.S. Marines which is a blatant "Act of War" against a peaceful, neutral ally.

THE LAW OF NATIONS
All the rights of a belligerent are derived from the justice of his cause. The unjust Nation which attacks him, or threatens to attack him, or which withholds his property from him, which, in a word, does him an injury, puts him under the necessity of defending himself or of obtaining his rights by force and authorizes him in all acts of hostility necessary to procure full satisfaction. Whoever takes up arms without a lawful cause has, therefore, no rights whatever; all the acts of hostility which he commits are unjust.

PRESIDENT GROVER CLEVELAND'S CONGRESSIONAL MESSAGE - December 1893
The Law of Nations is founded upon reason and justice, and the rules of conduct governing individual relations between citizens or subjects of a civilized state are equally applicable as between enlightened nations. The considerations that international law is without a court for its enforcement, and that obedience to its commands practically depends upon good faith, instead of upon the mandate of a superior tribunal, only give additional sanction to the law itself and brand any deliberate infraction of it not merely as a wrong but as a disgrace. A man of true honor protects the unwritten word which binds his conscience more scrupulously, if possible, than he does the bond a breach of which subjects him to legal liabilities; and the United States in aiming to maintain itself as one of the most enlightened of nations would do its citizens gross injustice if it applied to its international relations any other than a high standard of honor and morality. On that ground the United States can not properly be put in the position of countenancing a wrong after its commission any more than in that of consenting to it in advance. On that ground it can not allow itself to refuse to redress an injury inflicted through an abuse of power by officers clothed with its authority and wearing its uniform; and on the same ground, if a feeble but friendly state is in danger of being robbed of its independence and its sovereignty by a misuse of the name and power of the United States, the United States can not fail to vindicate its honor and its sense of justice by an earnest effort to make all possible reparation.

In commending this subject to the extended powers and wide discretion of the Congress, I desire to add the assurance that I shall be much gratified to cooperate in any legislative plan which may be devised for the solution of the problem before us which is consistent with American honor, integrity, and morality. - Washington DC, December 18, 1893

It is a tragic fact that in my lifetime I have never seen a U.S. President with the integrity of Grover Cleveland.

George Bush Sr. - State of the Union address January 17, 1991.
"We have before us the opportunity for a New World Order, an order where the rule of law, not the law of the jungle, governs the conduct of nations."

It is highly instructive at this point to put Bush Sr.'s reverence for law in context. To do this we need only compare Kuwait's injury to that of Hawaii, because both had their inherent sovereignty violated by an "unjust" and "belligerent" rogue. The major difference however is the fact that Iraq actually had legitimate claims to neighboring Kuwaiti territory, whereas Hawaii was a peaceful neutral ally over 2500 miles away in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Four words are all that is needed to describe the U.S. foreign policy here, and indeed virtually everywhere; oil, global domination, hypocrisy.

Whereas the indigenous Hawaiian people never directly relinquished their claims to their inherent sovereignty as a people or over their national lands to the United States, either through their monarchy or through a plebiscite or referendum&

Recapping the facts; the U.S. admits to stealing Hawaii, it then admits that the Hawaiian people never gave up their right to sovereignty, and at the same time the U.S. is running around the planet telling everyone how much they defend "Freedom" and "Democracy" for all of us through the "War on Terror." And that the U.S. should be immune from international laws because they revere the "Rule of Law" so much. Hypocrisy does not even begin to describe the sick reality of American policy.

THE LAW OF NATIONS
But the whole body of the Nation, the State, so long as it has not voluntarily submitted to other men or other Nations, remains absolutely free and independent.

The above law mandates the "Reinstatement" of the Hawaiian Nation. A nation that was largely in suspension yet has every right to exist and in fact does.

The Rule of postliminium is that by which the persons and property captured by the enemy are restored to their former status on coming again into the power of the Nation to which they belong.

THE PREAMBLE OF THE AMENDED HAWAIIAN CONSTITUTION OF 2000
Whereas the Kingdom of Hawai'i, having been in exile for one-hundred seven years due to an unlawful overthrow of its government de jure, has exercised perfect right to reestablish its proper station as an independent nation within the community of nations.

I have just provided you with concrete proof that I have every right to return to Hawaii without subjecting myself to your Immigration and Naturalization Service as an alien. Despite my desire to return I will never dishonor myself and the Hawaiian Nation by doing so. My role as a Hawaiian citizen is to continue the struggle outside of my homeland until it is free. I have commited to return to my nation only when justice is served there or not at all, I cannot bear to see the land and people I love so dearly trampled on by your hypocrisy. I am committed to justice however and I do see the day where justice is done, what a glorious day that will be, and not just for me, but for you. Until then, I WILL NOT RETURN TO HAWAII!
