#1 Eel Cove 30-60ft Beginner to Advanced

A green coral reef, with a sand bottom at 60ft., and rocky area near the shoreline. You can expect to see many varieties of Moray eels, as the name suggests. Yellow Margin, White mouth, Zebra and the rare Dragon Moray are among them. Spanish Dancer egg casings, Pennant Butterfly fish, and an occasional dolphin can be sighted.

#2 Long Lava Tube 25-45ft. Intermediate to Expert

Here you will see old lava flows, finger and hard coral, and of course lava tubes. The longest lava tubes on the Kona Coast, up to 120 ft. long with beautiful shafts of light coming through the open ceilings. Lots of reef fish, cowry shells and lobsters can also be seen.

#3 Lone Tree Arch 20-60ft. Beginner to Advanced

Some less common species can be found here, including the Frog fish or Angler fish which uses a dangling lure attached to his head to entice fish whom are promptly swallowed in the blink of an eye.

Other interesting sites include a large archway and sand chutes. Octopi can also be seen.

#4 Garden Eel Cove 30-60ft. Beginner to Advanced

This site affords you the rare opportunity to see Garden eels at a very shallow depth. Normally seen at 100ft.+.
